IELTS Writing Score Criteria 1 - Task Achievement

In this particular criterion, the essay should fully satisfy what the task requires. Meaning to say, all the needed points for the essay are covered – nothing left behind. For example, if one of the tasks requires the candidate to identify a remarkable change in the graph, this should be indicated in the essay and explained well. In addition, the essay should clearly present a fully developed response. The essay should have ideas that are developed and are no ideas could confuse the person rating the essay.
